Product Details

This painting is all about the locomotion of a salmon jumping out of the water. I used shimmery silver paint to give the skin an iridescent quality and painted the scales using the end of my paintbrush, rapidly marking the body to convey a sense of dynamism. As Hockney says, 'every brushstroke has an energy'. Printed on premium quality paper, mounted and in a cellophane sleeve.
